In connection with a three year investigation into Countrywide Financial’s practices, today, Chairman Darell Issa (R-CA) of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released a report detailing Countrywide’s efforts to influence Washington policy makers through the issuance of discounted mortgages. 
With respect to the release of the report, entitled “How Countrywide Used its VIP Loan Program to Influence Washington Policymakers,” Issa said: 

The Committee’s investigation found Countrywide lobbyists and CEO Angelo Mozilo used discounted loans as a tool to ingratiate itself with policymakers in an effort to benefit the company’s business interests. A former lobbyist for Countrywide testified that Members of Congress, staff, and other government officials were directed to the company’s VIP program as part of an effort to create a favorable impression of the company on Capitol Hill.…

They are worried about that when banks got billions of dollars in no return needed bailouts? You have to wonder whats the difference. Maybe being partial as the Obama administration does quite often. Maybe countrywide forgot to send Obama's payoff portion.

Hmph , no mention of charlie wrangle or slobber-pus in there ? I'de dare bet the hubbub is more to do with ousting the wrangle voter fraud then anything via Issa
