Disordered Liberty has previously commented on the ongoing investigation by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee [Committee] into the ill-advised Operation Fast and Furious, under which the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives [ATF] recklessly allowed approximately 2000 U.S. weapons to flow across the border into the hands of Mexican drug cartel members.
Weapons found near the site where U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was murdered were among those that the ATF allowed to fall into the hands of the Mexican criminal syndicates.
Although the Committee has received more than 7,500 documents from Attorney General Holder’s Justice Department, those documents represent only about 5 percent of the documents requested by the Committee in a subpoena issued October 11, 2011. …

This is so much more then what it seems.
I remember reading years ago about how the forces of mexican and American X military were on missions trying to stop drug issues After Reagan pointed out that we should do something about it , which did little to less then simply inform the US citizen that there government was involved in covert operations, the US was in deeper at that time then listed in the local papers.
The agents went rouge and joined together in several factions , which inevitably joined forces. Since that time the US has used these people and the drug trade to fund black budgets and control who the feel should be in power.
So the reasoning behind why this is being blown up for all to excavate and politically exploit , is beyond me. Maybe things have gotten once again out of control , and needed ousting ? The fact that the current administration is so deep into there ally , and I stress there ally , as in the collaboration between Chaves , Ahmadinejad* and the rest of the men that run the other parts of the world.
Could it be there is a serious crack in the hierarchy that consumes an agenda ?
