Are these good speeds for my verizon online dsl 3000/768 ?

I know the download is good but idk if the upload is good for the advertised 768 ?

These speeds are after I used the Cablenut program. My downloads are pretty fast but it seems like webpage loading is slower then normal.

Any suggestions ?  (Other then the read this thread about making yor speeds faster)

Anything I can do to have lower pings ?

i dont think so, make a tracert to testmy.net, download this Tracert and Ping program (made by PHP ) https://testmy.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=3341.0;id=1352 and click on autocheck.exe, when its done, just right click and paste all the result in your post.

If I do that will it make my connection unstable/get me booted of AIM and ps2 games ?

And will it make webpages load faster ?

Also how long does it take for it to take affect ?

Sorry for all the questions just curious.  ;)

your ISP have to check your signals, if you live far away from CO and/ or the quality of copper line is bad, your modem will loose sync if you not using Interleaved mode.

that cause packetloss to your first hop and disconnections.

So just try it and see if I can ?

If it causes lost of sync and pactet loss I can change it back ?

How do I know if they did it after I ask ?

Also, how long does it take to activate ? Right away ?

The guy said sumthing about its company  policy that u can't switch back even if it doesn't work and that it takes 24-48 hours to go in effect.

Ik thats bs about they can't switch it back so I was like ok. They can't refuse to not switch it back, i'll be like ur gonna lose a customer.

Hope this shit works. :-/

Well maybeit did n't take 24-48 hours after the call like the guy said. Cuz after I hang up my modem lost its connection and then i had to go in to its setup page to receonnect. It might have doneit on its on but I did it by myself cuz i was like wtf it never dropped since I had it, then I remembered. LoL

Does this look like the increase in pings ur were talking about or did I just lose connection and regain with some slightly better pings ? :?

Alright, well I hope when they do that it works alot better.

I just dont want it to fuck up my connection.  :-|

Will it say it in my versalink router page what type it is and if so where ?

well, if this dosent work and Verizon dosent switch you back, change ISP.. Atleast that what i would do

i think you can see it in your modem setup
