jeffwalker9999,

I was under the impression that Cox fastest residential service in Las Vegas was 10,000,000 bps down and 1,000,000 bps up.

I use a Cox sold 5120 surfboard modem, and share the internet connection using a Netgear 614 version 2 websafe router...

No way to measure real internet speeds since Cox implemented speedboost or short time accelerator.

Using the Cox speed test: http://test.lvcm.com/

I show download speeds consistently in the 30,000,000 bps range and uploads of 1,000,000 bps

When I use the Java speed tool at dslreports.com it keeps 3 tests by zipcode, I mostly show 11,000,000 bps download.

Running two computers systems sharing the netgear router, they are both running a 64-bit Linux operating system, so can not comment on cablenut settings...

Hi All,

I'm also in the Las Vegas area (Boulder City) and have Cox HSI, I have there "Premier internet with PowerBoost" PKG.
Advertised at 18 Mbps/1.5Mbps and up to 22 Mbps/2Mbps w/PowerBoost . I've just had it hooked up for the last 5 days
and still working on the configuration and tweaks, after Cox was here three times and no improvement.

This is what my tests look like, not quite as advertised though. Any help would be appreciated.
