Hctim Posted June 11, 2004 CID Share Posted June 11, 2004 I have 2 256 sticks of ddr 3200+ on my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe bored both sticks are in 128bit 64x2 well 512mb of ram is not good for me so im thinking of adding 256mb of ram to the other slot thats NOT in Dual channel will my 512mb of ram still be in 128bit? If you plug in that extra chip then you will not be running dual channel but single channel with a total of 1280mb of total system ram... I would stay with the dual channel set up...
