After seeing php's check util in action, I got more interisted in wanting to know how to create .bat files. I know a little, since I've used MS-DOS and Win 3.x, but I haven't tried to do much with them.
I'm not looking to create anything fancy, just fooling around with what .bat files can do. So... my question is can anyone help me get started (e.g.: commands, variables, etc.)?

Thanks in advance.  :)
