dude u go dl the game off the offical site www.lineage2.com then u find a server thatu like on this site http://www.gamesites200.com/lineage2/ thne u go to there stie and get the server patch and you launch the patch it patches ur game and u resigter and ur ready to play...

BTW I play l2extreme (lineage2 server www.l2extreme.com) and has no lag 4 servers to high rate and 2 low rate.... if u need more help just ask

I run a free server, see the link below my siggie L2X i would not play on, they use leaked official server files and are being watched by NCSoft. Better to play a legal server that doesn't use stolen files

I second both the request for an L2 forum as well as the suggestion to not play on L2extreme. Sure, they might seem popular due to various reasons, but as Lorne pointed out, they are using leaked Chronicle 1 files and client-modded to support Chronicle 4 (the latest L2 expansion pack); sooner or later, they will get caught in legal crossfires. You are better off trying out servers that run L2J builds (a java emulator for L2). While many of these servers appear buggy and less complete, they do have a growing support in both the developer and player communities. And it's more legal than what L2extreme is doing.
