His test goes through the CGI-version (Perl Version) of my test because I have not written the affiliates portion of the script in PHP, the PHP version sould be more accurate because... well... it's written better ;-) (I know more about scripting now than I did when I wrote the base for the CGI version) --- and PHP is a much better language.

So you are admitting that the PHP version is more accurate?

no im admitting that i have a very mediocre cable conection, and you keep raining on my parade by telling me thoes scores arent accurate because of the language in which their written ¬_¬;

I suppose "less accurate" is the best description for the cgi tests. Inaccurate would mean CA3LE doesn't provide the most accurate speed test results, and that's an obvious lie :P

and remember no speedtest is 100% accurate, even tho Testmy.net is very close :)

that dosent mean that the fastest speedtest is the most accurate, i have a feeling alot of ppl think that.

My ISP speedtest is the most accurate i ever seen, but its not a "web" test, its a complete testprogram that measure your speed for 10 seconds upstream and downstream. Both in UDP and TCP.

That make the testfile size in my case around 1.2 MB/s x 10 = 12 MB

and for 100 Mbps connections 120 MB.

VanBuren :)
