Replacing laptop screen help

Hey, recently I busted the screen of my Inspiron e1505 and am looking to just buy the screen to replace it. Right now it has the WSXGA 1680x1050 screen in it. I want to replace it with a WXGA 1280x800 screen, it comes with the new inverter, but Im still not sure if you can replace the screen with a different resolution one. Ive search other forums and everywhere, some people say you can some say you dont want to. Does anyone have any experience with this that can help. Thanks

If you dont know Comcast offers a few membership to a few game sites for free with their 8mb service. Ive had the 8mb server for a while now and I saw this and wanted to get it. So i went here http://www.comcast.n...ales/index2.jsp and click on already have the 8mb service click here. But it just brought me to another page that talks about the service itself not activating my membership. No matter where I go or what I click on nothing about a registration for it comes up. I was just wondering if I had to call Comcast or is there a trick?

E3 2006 live Sony conference *PS3 PRICE*

earlier today gamestop had a free direct feed to the E3 2006 Sony conference where they showcased the ps3, among other things like the games, they showed the definite controller which is the same design as ps2, but bluetooth and a gyro hand motion type thing. They also said it would release on November 17th in North America for 2 prices. $499-ps3 with 20gig hd, and $599-ps2 with 60gig hd.
