I have noticed the test on this site showing very high scores on download for me, when in fact my speeds are very slow lately  with HughesNet as well as very sluggish web browsing. Im not really surprised as this seems to be the trend with Hughes.....sell all you can get, worry later about providing the service? Last evening HughesNet tech support told me to turn off anti virus and disable firewall.....well today we will just file another BBB claim, simple enough.

I have an unlimited Verizon Wireless 3g data plan for my phone, read somewhere that even though the unlimited data plans are grand-fathered speeds will be throttled after 5Gb of data. I only ever went past the 5Gb once.....myself did not see any reduction of speed. Does anyone know how this works?

My speed has been between 2-4Mbps even during the peak evening hours.....overall not many issues since I have been on the Ka band.

Im not sure about rollover, however my Download allowance or FAP limit has doubled.

Wildblue?.....for real, got to be kidding me. My experience Hughesnet speeds have improved over the last years.
