I recently upgraded my home network to a 802.11g and now I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 Wireless-B router that I have no use for. Other than selling it, do any of you know of something productive I could do with it? My new router is a D-link DI-624 AirPlus Extreme G router. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Help! iviaudio.ax crashes windowsmediaplayer and realplayer when playing dvds!!!
17 November 2005 - 09:27 PM
Hey guys, everytime I try to play a dvd through windows media player or realplayer, i get an error message that stops playback and says it needs to close. Ive found from reading the error report that the file that causes this problem is called iviaudio.ax. Ive heard it comes with Intervideo Windvd, which I DONT HAVE. Why do I have this file, and can I safely delete it? (its in c/windows/system32).
Thanks for any info

Remove battery from an 'always plugged-in' laptop?

My laptop is my main computer at home. I have it constantly plugged in my room. Should I just remove the battery in this situation? Will I damage the battery by always running off of AC power?
mp3 players safe going through x-ray machine?
03 October 2005 - 09:46 PM
I recently got a hard drive mp3 player (Creative Zen Micro). I was wondering if mp3 players can be damaged in anyway while passing through airport x-rays and/or metal detectors. Does anyone know the details about this topic?
Thanks
