In Topic: Can't connect to some sites using Wireless Broadband - Only Dial-Up????

I used to have a great little program that would easily optimize my internet settings for me however I don't remember what it was and don't have a copy of it anymore since I reformatted my HD
Any suggestions? (free is good :grin2:)

As I said earlier I don't know how to adjust the MTU settings and I don't know what settings I should change it to either?? :undecided:

Thanks but my home network and the pc's previously connected to the Linksys worked fine. I've tried subbing in a D-Link (604) with the same ppoe settings with exactly the same results. It seems to be something to do with the new ppoe settings but I don't know what or how to resolve?? Again, the only thing my ISP suggested was changing the MTU settings - BUT I don't know what setting to use/try and I don't know how to do that either???

sorry...this would be our second receiver in just over a year (first one went bad) and I've had 2 Linksys routers now as well. (see previous responses)
Anything else I can try before asking this of the ISP??
