Update: Got all of my parts except for the new graphics card I want ( saving up some more money)

yeah that's what I'm gonna go with, 2x (4 gig). I wasn't even aware that the forums changed recently as this topic was my first post in months. I like the new look, though!

I've been away from TMN for a while now, it's about time I come back. It seems like there aren't as many users on as there used to be, are the boards starting to slow down?

I plan on going past 8 gigs eventually so I figure I'll plan ahead by getting the 4 gig sticks so when I do want to go to 12 or even 16 i'll have the spare slots on my MOBO. As for now, I plan on getting the parts listed above in my links and running that for a week or two before I get some more cash. I'll then buy another 4 gig stick and an improved PSU. But for now I'm gonna run the 1 4 gig stick and get everything settled.
