My Speed.

Check it out.  :D 3Mb/s up and down

Just got upgraded from 1024 Kbps to 3000 Kbps, but still getting 1024 speed.

TCP options string = 020405a00103030001010402

MTU = 1480
MTU is optimized for Windows XP PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.

MSS = 1440
MSS is optimized for Windows XP PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising your MTU value.

Default TCP Receive Window (RWIN) = 63360
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 0 bits
Unscaled TCP Receive Window = 63360

RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other RWIN values that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
506880 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
253440 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
126720 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
63360 (MSS x 44) <-- current value

bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

Your TCP Window limits you to: 2534.4 kbps (316.8 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your TCP Window limits you to: 1013.76 kbps (126.72 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 58 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)

I have tried every rwin value listed here ^^^^^^^^ with no results. Started top to bottom. Running 63360 now.

:::.. Download Stats ..:::
Connection is:: 1372 Kbps about 1.4 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Download Speed is:: 167 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net (server1)
Test Time:: Tue Feb 21 22:15:46 CST 2006
Bottom Line:: 24X faster than 56K 1MB download in 6.13 sec
Diagnosis: Looks Great : 3.63 % faster than the average for host (fastfreedom.net)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/stats/id-5ALRNUIF3

TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.3.3d
click START to begin
Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  Done
running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 1.24Mb/s
running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 1.44Mb/s
The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet
Information: The receive buffer should be 238.83 Kbytes to maximize throughput

I have wireless. with 3000 Kbps, how fast should I be able to download a 1 MB file ? thanks for any help.

FUNNY

Don't know what's happened to my connection but not complaining.

Since I've been here at test my.net ( great site enjoy it greatly) my highest average 1 day download speed was 1382Kbps, the last 2 days my average download speed has been 1437, and 1440Kbps constantly.( 95.9% of cap)  Don't know what happened, weather they turned up the juice, voodoo, or what but just thought I'd let you all know  :D
