Hi wrc,

I forgot what your advertised speed is. Please do a speedtest and post.

Also check to ensure your signal cables and devices are plugged firmly and not placed near to other electrical devices - keep modem and router a few feet apart.

There are a few info you need to find out before you can tweak:

What are your ISP advertised speeds?

What is your comp's present settings with regards to MTU, RWIN and latency?

Is your comp free of viruses, spyware and malware?

To answer the 2nd question, do this test and post:

To answer the 3rd question, you need to scan and make sure you are clear.

I gave her a ccs file for MTU 1460 to try at this post:

If your MTU is 1500, you need a new ccs file.
