www.gamerenders.com is another good one

Actually just run a image search on Google for "game renders" or something like that and you should come up with ALOT.

I know of a few places but may i ask what you are going to use them for first?(I want to know that you are going to use them as wallpapers and not use the abstracts as backgrounds in sigs or something. FYI, thats frowned on in the sig design world)

again, work on your backgrounds bro. Just seems like you are throwing together something really fast and posting it here. Take your time and use numerous layers.

Nice try bro. Work on your backgrounds though. The BG is very plain and boring. Also blend you renders(the pics of the people). Takes practice and time to perfect this but anyone can do I believe if you are willing to take the advice from others and work on it. I would suggest starting with sigs though. Something around 410x130 pixals. Work your way up from there.

First thing, good try bro. Now, as far as the lasso tool is concerned. Everyone wants to be a PhotoShop expert and they dont have any idea what they are trying to say. ;) You want to set the feather on the lasso to 5 pixals. Cut out your render(the pic of you and your son) then drag over to the background. At this point you are going to want to take your art history brush and set it to around 40%. Use a light brush(not a heavy one). Go around the edges of the render to blend in into the background. Also turn down the opacity on the render so that the BG blends right into the render. Take a look at my sigs and check out my sight. Look at the sigs/banners/wallpapers on there and look close at the renders and how they are all "part" of the BG. I hope this helps a little. (just FYI....the renders in the sigs below were once 1024x768 wallpapers. I cut them out using the steps I have listed above for you. As you can see they are not blurry and look as if they "belong" in the backgrounds I have made. One last thing, dont be afraid to make numerous layers for the backgrounds. I average around 40 layers for one background.
