FBI Tracking Down AA Cheaters

13 January 2005 - 03:00 PM

Quote

America's Army executive producer Phil DeLuca has issued a hilariously thuggish warning to players of the US Army's action game / recruitment tool on the game's official forum this week. In a post seemingly removed after the attention it drew, DeLuca threatened that cheaters and those tampering with the game were "misusing Army property" and guilty of "cyber crime", before appearing to liken players guilty of such crimes to those in Japan who decided to bomb Pearl Harbour in the 1940s. The missive went on to threaten that the Department of Justice, the Secret Service and even the FBI could be involved in tracking people down, and concluded in cringeworthy fashion by declaring, "The Army is angry, and we're coming for you."

:haha:

This is just plain ridiculous.  You cheaters had better watch yourselves, though I'm certain nothing will happen.  Here's a link if you'd like to read more:  http://www.eurogamer...rticle_id=57584

Some Bullpoop

Here's a friend of mine ranting on about something he probably didn't do.  I find this outrageous.

Router Troubles Solved

30 December 2004 - 05:27 PM

Today, I asked tech support for help on why I was getting disconnected from the network when performing a tracert, or when certain programs (such as skype) try to access the internet.  They said that there's currently nothing that can be solved, but they're working on it.  So, I decided to take things into my own hands, and experiment.  I downgraded the firmware to about two years ago, and now everything works just fine.  I told them, and now they're thrilled.  You won't believe the thanks I got for helping them with their issue.

I thought you all would find this interesting.
