ATT/Cingular Broadband

Can anyone tell me where ATT/Cingular wireless Broadband stands in relationship to Verizon Broadband wireless modems? I am trying to see if the services are apples for apples. I looking for something other than satellite as my ISP, to be a constant speed or closer than what I have.

Whats the problem with testmy.net testing to wildblue????????? :sad:

: I got one poor test off this morning but unable to test since then.. I have been able to test with another site no problem.. Is there and issue today??

What is Dishnetwork and Wildblues problem with the internet service. From 3pm till 10pm or later I can not get but .15 -.48megabit download and a .03megabit on upload.. The ping runs from 980ms to as much as 2870ms. WHAT IS THEIR PROBLEM. Does anyone including Dishnetwork know..I pay for 1meg of service and as a rule 80% of the time I never come close. PLEASE HELP... Is Hugsnet better??
