i havent been on this site for a long time, lost my internet, got it back now tho...
and now i have a problem, there are preteen kids in the house using the computers and i think they may be getting onto sites they should not be on...
im looking for a free and easy to use program or method of blocking certain websites and or adult content.
so, if any of you knowledgeable people here could point me in the right direction, i would greatly appreciate it.
thanks in advance.

car speakers on my pc? haha
08 September 2009 - 10:20 PM
ok, so i was bored, and i blew the dinky little subwoofer on my 5.1 surround sound setup on my computer, and i had two ten inch kicker comp subwoofers for a car laying here, in individual truck style boxes...im sure you see where this is going...
so i pulled the dinky little 4 ohm subwoofer from the box, and the box also contains the amp that provides power to the sub and the 5 other speakers, and all are 4 ohms. the two kicker comp subs are 8 ohm. whatever, just lay em together the right way and you have a 4 ohm, two speaker connection off one speaker output. and ya know what? HOLY HELL IT POUNDS...
i was quite surprised at how decent it sounds...i just thought some of you might get a kick out my ghetto sound system on my computer. see what happens when i get bored?

problem with wireless connection
23 July 2009 - 01:57 PM
i have an issue. my mother has a sierra wireless hdpa usb modem, it wont connect to the internet on her computer, tried un installing and re installing, still nothing. i plugged the wireless modem into my computer and installed all the neccessary software, 3g watcher and stuff, and it works fine on my computer....i really cant figure this out. could it possibly be a virus on her computer thats blocking her from connecting? ive been at this all day, and am getting aggrivated. if anyone has any ideas, i would really like to hear them.
reliable and free anti-virus and anti-spyware?
15 July 2009 - 06:09 PM
im hoping to get some suggestions and maybe some links from you all about some of the reliable and trust worthy and FREE anti-spyware and anti-virus programs that are out there. im currently only using comodo internet security, i am happy with the firewall end of comodo, but am a bit unsure about the virus protection it offers. recently i have noticed a decline in my computers performance and i fear i may be infected with malware or spyware. ive tried the trend micro housecall, and dont like the slowness of it, i dont enjoy sitting on trends website forever waiting for it to do its thing, i would rather have a program on my computer that is easy to use, reliable and free. ive scanned with comodo, but it comes back clean, but i think its missing something. i dont like trend, i dont like mcafee, and i dont care for avg...do i have any more options when it comes to free protection? and does anyone here use kasperkey? i have a copy of that, but havent tried it yet, i am wondering if its worth trying? thanks in advance guys and girls.
