DVI.....I'm so Confoozed

Hey all........
OK I can usually figure out things like this, But this has got me totally confused  :uglystupid2:

My son and daughter in-law have this monitor... http://www.samsung.c...=Specifications

But they currently are running the D-SUB connection.
So for Xmas I bought this video card for them.... http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814143046

So my confusion is, the monitor is DVI-D (not sure if Dual-Link or not) and the vid card is DVI-I Dual-Link.
From the way I understand it DVI-D is only digital and DVI-I has analog and digital signals  :shrug:
Will they work together ?

I know it's a cheap cable, but I'm thinking it will just send the Digital signal.
Backwards compatible ?

Digital Camera Question

Hi all.....
I'm like DUH!! when it comes to digital cameras, the Q: is can any digital camera be used as a webcam using the USB port ?
I wasn't sure if it would hurt anything being on for long periods of time like that.
I can't seem to find out anything about that anywhere.
This is the camera I was thinking about HERE And as cheap as Webcams are it's not that big an issue just curious.
Also does that seem to be a fairly decent camera for the money?

I don't know how many people have used Black Vipers web site in the past, I used to use it all the time ( some good info there ) but mostly I used it for the services settings.
