What's the best web browser to use? Do different web browsers make your dsl speeds decreace or increase? currenty i'm running firefox.

I find that Firefox gives me a MUCH higer speed reading than IE. FF has me running over 70% faster than the average for Comcast cable, whereas IE has me running only at 90% of Comcast's average speed. So, what's the real speed? Beats me!

i hate IE and tried opera but i love firefox the best and have so many plugins for it that help it to be the best for me.

just starting useing firefox here with my verizon online dsl.seems like my downloads and uploads are faster including my browswer.

get fasterfox if you dont already have it and it might improve it more and load pages faster Very Happy

when did you start using firefox eebobb?  i started back in the day, like a year and a half ago, i told everyone, scruffy, all my friends and they started to love it too. 

FIREFOX IS THE BEST.

i cant remember but its been over 1 year easy but i think it was version 0.5 or 7.  dont remember but now i have 1.5

IE6 doesn't even work on my computer... nor IE7.

I use Firefox for the most part, Maxthon on occasion if a site only supports IE.
