The ban on controversial video game Manhunt 2 in the UK has been lifted and the game will now go on sale.
The Video Appeals Committee upheld an earlier decision that the game could be sold, following a nine-month battle between makers Rockstar and UK censors.

The British Board of Film Classification had taken the fight to ban the game to the High Court, saying the game "went too far".

honestly i cant be against these games...they are only games...i personally wouldnt touch this game...but there are games like Postal 2 share the pain..in which i find hilarious....(dont flame unless you've actually played)

this game series is kinda stupid if the main point is to kill people with gory methods....its like the saw movies though....too much gore, not enough plot....or anything else...

I kinda see what you're saying but the whole gimmick of the game isn't just to be a gore fest. It's a different style of FPS that makes it unique there is no running and gunning it's made for the scare factor and the fact that you can use the environment in creative ways to save your hide.
