I have searched but cant quite seem to come up with an answer. I am trying to determine what is an acceptable number for the number of failed transmissons numbers. I know there is a percentage of the total number of transmissions but I do not know. Does anyone have any answers??

that was a decent test...how long have you had it, I got mine and i was at those speeds within a week i was at around 1000Kbps plus and I still am. DirecWay advertises only 500Kbps and so how much can you really expect. I see your at 83 degrees are you near chicago because thats what im by and im at 83degrees.

Does anyone use Limewire for P2P sharing..I Know its horrible but how are your download speeds im looking at most 70kbps and thats at the best.

Reboot...did it. The guy that suggested a spyware problem...did a sweep deleted it all and it did help. So thank you for that. A few more things....What is a good defrag program??? Also where exactly is the NOC located. Ive seen all the maps but its a large shot for a little place.

Well my speeds are back to normal about 1000kbps. Now I see this in my DW6000 System
TCP Acceleration Status Impaired
Web Acceleration Status Not Operational
When Im going from site to site thats what it says. It has a red flag next to it. My pages are loading slower so im not sure how to fix that..any ideas would be great.

I could understand that they would slow you down after the 30 days were up, but im only about 3 weeks into my service. We will see what happens over the next few days. Did show signs of improvment but we lost power so I dont know anymore. If the speeds dont resume because I know what they are capable of, then bye bye Direcway. Now I heard someone say the NOC rotates bandwith between Satelites, anyone confirm?

Well since Ive had Direcway Installed about 3 weeks ago,ive been at 1000kbps all throughtout the day. Now all of a sudden im at 700kbps. Last time I was at my all time low of 200kbps. Now ive seen people talk about direcway rotating bandwith to different satelites. Is this true and probably what my problem is? I know it doesnt matter but my signal strength is 58. The other night I lost my service due to wheather. Since then its been down. My signal has not changed so I do not believe the dish moved. Any help would be great, Im hoping to use Direcway tech support as a last resort.

I dont mean to butt in but when you say "fine tune" your DW600 what does that all entail? Ive had direcway for about 3 weeks and its running great. So does that mean they are just giving me speed untill my month is over or whats the deal?? I usally see around 1200kbps and the actual download speed varies. Cant hold a good download speed when downloading files.

ive got it, lost the ty signal before the direcway signal dtv signal was 86 and dway is 54. installer said one wont take out the other, since two satelites, two LNBs and different sites of wires. better than two dishes, why is the DWAY dish so freaking big!!

I went through that site, and I have downloaded tweaks and did nothing for me. My computer is nicely set up, at 752mgs of ram 2.7ghz proccessor and only 20% of hard drived used of 80gigs, anything else?? Oh i could live with the current speeds of 1200kbps but its at night not sure how long they will last.

Well I just got DirecWay and I have the DW6000 modem. Well my speeds are about 670Kbps down and 40Kbps up. I know thats not great but my dial up was about 27kpps, so im happy. Any DW6000 users have any suggestions to maybe get this download speed higher? My signal is about 54 and I know that doesnt effect my speeds. Now ive been lookin at the DW4000 seems cheap on Ebay how hard is it to switch over and would it be worth it? Any tips, suggestions etc etc would be great!!!
