I thught this would be a good poll after alot peopleare wanting more mirrors and these cost testmy.net money, when people buy ads testmy.net gets money.

If you use a wireless router please use encryption, i often see unprotected wireless networks and am able to get free braodband in almost every city now days as alot people use wireless networks and dont turn on encryption.
Be smart encryptions a start!!!

I would like to inquire about the California mirror it would be nice to have a mirror in Seattle for BC Seattle California and Hawaii residents, when i run the test i get 1 of three mirrors and its very inaccurate from Seattle being able to hit Texas ca or new york mirrors and not knowing if my speed is low due to my distance or if its really from latency or traffic. This is very good website keep advertising and growing, good luck

I would like to see some html i can add to my website that tests around 100 users connections and reports back to my account, it would be intrestingto see if people are using modem on my site or broadband on my website more often and the averaged speed need to serve the website. I'm new if this is feater already, forgive me

The problum with ping judging games is the fact that an oc 3 with ping of 100 is quicker responding than say a 56k modem at 100 ping. Thats why new games need network management apps built in.
cause the two have same ping doesn't mean there running same speed
why they should judge with ping and internet speed both
They do this on css and hl2 using set network speed and ping to server, but its still very inaccurate. It wouldn't be as inaccurate if they were managed as one, using some kind of gaming network management software optimized and built intoeach online game.
