So it's just a signal then...I only ask because recently it went from 3.4-6.4 and now floating around 7, we upgraded to sbc yahoo pro and I was just curious if that was a result of the upgrade or if that's just normal...although our download speeds are still the same they said we have to wait 10 days for the optimization period.

I've had a few problems with sbc yahoo dsl express...especially since upgrading to the pro plan...as you can see I'm not even at the 1.5mbps minimum and a far cry from 3.0mbps. I'm only 5,000 feet from the Co and I've tried every tweak available, fortunately their "dedicated" staff has yet to figure out what the problem is...they claim my line can handle 8mbps.
