sometimes when i dl a file the speed spikes at 200kbs and stays constant for a good 10 seconds then drops down to 90kb any ideas whats wrong with it and heres the test (except cant show u the 200kb pers sec because it drops ) also i called verizon and im about 10,000 ft away :::.. i got everything fixed seems when i upgraded my modem it changed the local connection to static ip everythings workin thank you for your help Cak46

sorry bout that again umm yup both computers are connected through a port on the wireless B router(ethernet wise)

hi i got this wierd problem where the router works with 1 computer but doesnt work with the other im using a westell 2100 with a linksys wireless b router i think it is because i accidentaly pressed set staic ip on the modem but i use dchp eh im no good at router stuff help will be appreciated man i stink at this stuff
