  1. hey guys, i finally found the solution to my problem. when i went to preferences, i noticed that i set my max download rate to 170 kb/s. thats why it wouldnt go any further. haha im so clumsy. but thank you all for trying to help me out. i appreciated it. hey organ, i think the service pack 2 isnt the reason why your download is so slow. it might me something else cuz i also have SP2 and my download is going above 400 kb/s now.

Hey VanBuren, thanks for the advice. i was suspecting the same thing. but im upgrading my speed to Fios this Friday so i guess i will wait until then. but if i still have a problem after the upgrade, i'll come back to seek your great help. oh one more thing, what is the difference between ms1460 and 1452? its confusing me. thanx again.
