  1. That is a good point but the way I see it is that ISP's are pissed off at people who share their music, games, and movies. By limiting them with their speed they have been able to influence people to share less and saves them on bandwith. Reguardless, we get the shaft in the end. Audidiablo
  2. I'd care more about download. What if the file you are downloading is like 4GB? On a 1mbit line it would take forever. It seems like for most intetnet companies can acheive download speeds almost effortlessly. Upload is the issue. If anything, why not compromise such as a 6/6 line or even a 4/4 I'd rather keep at least my download speed there then be able to upload as well. Not many people out there have 10mbit down connections so I'd find it rather pointless. One way or another the times will catch us and I'm sure we'll be able to see some sort of 10/10 line or even Van Burrens 100/100. Yes it may be years but by that time there will be no need to complain audidiablo
  3. When I said reappied I ment I appied my settings again. The tweaks are good but maybe the values of the windows may be lacking some in certain area's. Another thing that I found to help was going to run>sysedit enter then setting the value for my irq on the nic card. 4mb is good and i saw a good increase in performance as well as responsiveness. Anyway if you want my css file or the part of the irq memory setting let me know. Ciao Chris

  6. I would reccomend being XP is to do the system restore because if it is an internal problem(being inside windows) the problem the system restore should allow xp to automatically set the proper driver. I've had that problem in the past and after the 30 min restore I was able to get the right driver and everything was okay. My computer has been the best since 4 years ago no problems! If you need any help and want my advice just ask Chris
  7. try using speedguides "TCP Optimiser" https://www.speedguide.net/files/TCPOptimizer.exe you can then set it to 10000 and use optimum settings seen by the okay button enjoy!
