it is still slow. here's my results from pinging www.google.com in DOS: minimum: 735ms maximum: 1501 average: 1209ms the cable I had when I used to live in NY pinged this: minimum: 31ms maximum: 36ms average: 32ms big....BIG.... jump there. i can't even game anymore. this is just stupidity. I have a feeling that any tweak I use won't allow me to game anymore

it's only faster because i did the 1496kb dl.. the larger one, not the largest. which i was doing before....

Well... I tried kols settings, that didn't work. I read through that guide that Bird Fan posted.... did everything but scanned for viruses because I just did that yesterday and this is the first time I've been on since then. I also tried Birds config that he posted, but are you using the 1460 or the 1500 satellite settings? There's 2 different folders. Here's what I got with Van's 1460 :::..
