  1. The last line of your report says you are running Windows NT and Firefox 2.0.0.1. Is that accurate? If so, I wonder if the age of the Operating System and the age of the browser are coming into play here? I also recall that when I asked Charter to bump me up to a faster internet package, my modem didn't provision the first time. After about a week of seeing no speed increases, I call their helpline. The lady looked at my system online and told me my modem was not provisioned for the higher speed system. Maybe you will need to contact Charter, too. LLL

  3. Every time I attempt a download test, my machine gets to the screen where it transfers results to the web site and waits for the web site to show those results on my screen, and it sits there "waiting for " the web site to post results. Can anyone give me some insight into why I can't seem to finish a test? I installed WildBlue Value Pac six weeks ago. The performance seems OK, but when TestMy.Net did work, it typically warned that I was only getting 30% of the performance for my provider. (When I check my host stats, it shows my host to be 51.170. What host is 51.170?) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  4. My WildBlue connection is about 12 days old. The system is very stable and much faster than my old dial up. I have encountered one glitch. When I try to run a speed test here at testmy.net, the site seems to be going through with the test, but when the test concluded it attempts to go to a results page but gets hung up on the way. I get a partial screen that says I must be running some sort of accelerator (none that I know of.. I have tweaked some settings on FireFox), but it doesn't take me to the true results page. Does anybody have any experience with this problem? Any ideas about how to fix it? Thanks
