    Rule #1, don't tell your wife anything your girlfriend already knows!

    [that could cause a conflict of interest ~ and it's a breach of Domestic Security!!]

  5. I think it's going to be "bioware" vs. "hardware"

    A traffic control system for molecules

    Our cells contain small protein factories which have to deliver materials inside the cell via a network of microtubules. And the transportation is carried out by biomolecular motors. Now, researchers from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands have built a traffic control system able to force individual molecules to choose between 'roads' by applying strong electrical fields locally at Y-junctions. This traffic control system can potentially lead to new nano-fabrication techniques.

  6. From The New York Times Magazine article "Scan This Book" By KEVIN KELLY

    "The dream is an old one: to have in one place all knowledge, past and present. All books, all documents, all conceptual works, in all languages. It is a familiar hope, in part because long ago we briefly built such a library. The great library at Alexandria, constructed around 300 B.C., was designed to hold all the scrolls circulating in the known world. At one time or another, the library held about half a million scrolls, estimated to have been between 30 and 70 percent of all books in existence then. But even before this great library was lost, the moment when all knowledge could be housed in a single building had passed. Since then, the constant expansion of information has overwhelmed our capacity to contain it."

    "Scanning technology has been around for decades, but digitized books didn't make much sense until recently, when search engines like Google, Yahoo, Ask and MSN came along. When millions of books have been scanned and their texts are made available in a single database, search technology will enable us to grab and read any book ever written. Ideally, in such a complete library we should also be able to read any article ever written in any newspaper, magazine or journal. And why stop there? The universal library should include a copy of every painting, photograph, film and piece of music produced by all artists, present and past. Still more, it should include all radio and television broadcasts. Commercials too. And how can we forget the Web? The grand library naturally needs a copy of the billions of dead Web pages no longer online and the tens of millions of blog posts now gone

  8. . . .still counting down?  Try reading Space rock could make 2036 a killer year

    "Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 13, 2036. That's when a 1,000-foot-wide asteroid named Apophis could hit the Earth with enough force to obliterate a small state."

    "The odds of a collision are 1-in-6,250. But while that's a long shot at the racetrack, the stakes are too high for astronomers to ignore."

      "For now, Apophis represents the most imminent threat from the worst type of natural disaster known, one reason NASA is spending millions to detect the threat from this and other asteroids."

  9. Funny video. He would be worried about the up coming ROM-DOS  & cholla ticket.    :lol:

    On the serious side I don't think we would have went to war with Iraq.911 might not have happened.

    I kinda think so, too, in some strange 'Clintonish' ~ let the good times roll ~ way!!

    {geez, I'm startin' to think there are "parallel" realities going on here, and we just got stuck in the "stupid looser one"}

    "Today, we celebrate the first glorious anniversary of the Information Purification Directives. We have created, for the first time in all history, a garden of pure ideology. Where each worker may bloom secure from the pests of contradictory and confusing truths. Our Unification of Thoughts is more powerful a weapon than any fleet or army on earth. We are one people, with one will, one resolve, one cause. Our enemies shall talk themselves to death and we will bury them with their own confusion. We shall prevail!"

  10. Shoreditch TV is an experiment TV channel beaming live footage from the street into people's homes. According to the Telegraph U.K. television will broadcast from 400 surveillance cameras on the streets, into people's homes. For now they are only showing it to 22,000 homes, but next year they plan on going national with the 'show'. They fly under the flag 'fighting crime from the sofa'.  :shock:

    . . .now if you can remotely zoom in on your neighbors bedroom window . . .LOL

  11. . . .oh yeah, never put your "passwords" into a search engine!!

    "http://*:*@www" domainname

    This is a query to get inline passwords from search engines (not just Google), you must type in the query followed with the the domain name without the .com or .net!!

    . . .of course, there's a ton of query's you can play with;

    intitle:"Index of" passwords modified

    allinurl:auth_user_file.txt

    "access denied for user" "using password"

    "A syntax error has occurred" filetype:ihtml

    allinurl: admin mdb

    "ORA-00921: unexpected end of SQL command"

    inurl:passlist.txt

    "Index of /backup"

    "parent directory " /appz/ -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

    "parent directory " DVDRip -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

    "parent directory "Xvid -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

    "parent directory " Gamez -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

    "parent directory " MP3 -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

    "parent directory " Name of Singer or album -xxx -html -htm -php -shtml -opendivx -md5 -md5sums

    Notice that I am only changing the word after the parent directory, change it to what you want and you will get a lot of stuff.
