it was a frequent thing that would happen.it was so bad my wife would goto the library to check email.It happened everyday had to power cycle at least 2 times a day when i was  home.

i had dw 6000 and i had nothing but trouble with it I believe my signal and cross pol were both in the mid 70's every time i tried going to websites it would be a blank screen and say done. Hopefully WB will be better

big deal they increased there speed for home users to 1 mb now they need to fix the FAP problem.no matter how fast they can be if they have a crappy FAP they aint worth crap.

soon i will.i have to wait till i sell the dw6000 equipment first.i live outside of waller,tx and they are offering free installationright now im on dial up peoplepc for the time being and not only is wildblue cheaper they have a smaller dish 26" and they offer a faster upload speed also 512/128

actually at www.wildblue.com it only shows that there is a 299 cost and in some cases depending on where you live there is free installation.DirecWay home professional plan is 90 a month and there website only shows a bandwidth of 500/50.corrected the website

ok thats still not bad.i had direcway and was paying 60 a month for them and was limited to downloading no more then 169mb within a 4 hr span.so i cancelled them

i have been hearing on the radio about this new satellite internet company called WILD BLUE does any one use them?talking to them they seem to have a far much better Fair Access Policy then direcway. Same speeds and all 512/50kbps for 49.99 but instead of a 169mb limit within 4hrs they offer a 10gig per month limit before they cut your speed back.so if anyone uses there service let me know how good or bad it is.thanks

Still not bad.specially with direcway.now for 60 bucks a month id be happy only if they did away with the FAP

ya that was on the dw6000 i have recorder bandwith in th 2mb range also

ok my direcway speed is getting better now if they can lift the FAP i will be happier having to limit my downloads to 41kbps is terrible

direcway is good and all seeing i live in the country but having a limit of 169mb within 4-5 hrs is retarded.and above all things i have to use a download manager to keep my speed at around 41kbs so i dont get FAPed all the time
