  1. Alright I took this out a long time ago out of my sony vaio. some of you may remember. Anyways I just found the multimedia mpeg 2 encoder hardware that came along with the sony IE: Media Centre OS. I was wondering if anyone knew where to get a driver or anything that could help me set this up. And is it even possible to run this hardware on my setup?

    The hardware:

Device Description	Conexant (Internext Compression) iTVC16/CX23416 MPEG Codec

    Windows Vista Ultimate

    Intel Core 2 Duo | E6600 2.4Ghz ~ 3.2Ghz

nVidia nForce 680i LT SLI Motherboard

    7600GS nVidia Graphics Card

[ Could this hardware help with rendering audio? It is also a cable converter as IE Media Centre pc's all have enabling them to watch Tv on the Pc. Could this be used along side my 7600GS for rendering? Possible?

    Please help, Thanks in advance.

    Any more information needed ask.

  3. I want to upgrade to vista ultimate, but honestly I don't see it in my near future so Its on hold. Guess the answer is, a faster computer = the better performance out of Vista. I don't no what everyone's running but I get the same performance if not facer than XP Home, and my Internet speeds are still the same, and maxed out acrossed the board.

  4. I've installed the correct drivers for the intelli-type software. The keyboards not responding to the boot up on windows, vista could windows vista be a default. As it does not recognizers the hardware?

Please help, Intellitype software for vista? Is it out.  :?

  5. I've gotten these results for a long time now, could this just be a new roadrunner customer has joined my neighborhood and is using more of the bandwidth than before me? I'm listed at roadrunners 15mbp/s Down and 1mbp/s up. nothing wrong with the upload only the download getting only what 82%? Vista doesn't help much as no-one no's any tweaks but for upload.  :mad2:

  6. Yeah we've all heard of the horror stories with firefox and media player and how firefox needed the plugin .ddl'

s for webpages offering media player videos.

But Heres a new one. Vista + Firefox + Media Player, It's not letting me play any media player files. I downloaded and installed all the files needed in XP and put them in the correct folder. I'll go try and put them in the firefox plugin folder, thats how I fixed it in XP. Might or might not work. Lets see.  [nerdly]

  7. I installed a program I got from Here Ran it and changed it so it would be on curve. Sidebar shutdown and will not startup. Tried to uninstall it. By erasing the files manually will not work. Please someone help me. I need to get it back. Lol  :sad3:
