  1. Thanks, I know all about cahed results. See below after I cleared everything out. Any other suggs? I never had this problem with Win 98, either, and I only seem to have this roblem at testmy.net. I can test at Speakeasy.net and it is fine. Thanks :::.. 2. Hi!, I just upgraded to XP and when I try my download test on testmy.net, I get outrageously fast readings, like 4830 KB/sec and 41Mb/sec. I have installed cablenut and put the latest version from Van Burens site. Any sugs? BTW, I have 6 down/384KB up Comcast.net. Thanks :::.. 3. I have Comcast 6/384. I thought I only had 4/384. I ran through all the tweaks weeks ago and got my connection from around 1.7m to over 4m, which at the time was faster than Comcast in my area. Now that they have upgraded to 6m I have power cycled everything and waited and I cannot get the 6m. Any suggs? These are the results I get generally with the different tests. :::.. Broadband VOIP

As I said earlier it is a minimum 80 Kb (kilobits) not 80 KB (KiloBytes) My upload is shown below at 373 Kb(Kilobits) this is pretty consistant, this is 293 kilobits more than their minimum, this connection is fine most of the time, but "sometimes" it gets choppy and people think I am on a cell phone, and no one is on the computer uploading or downloading anything. Thanks for you input :::.. Broadband VOIP

I have MCI VOIP and ocassionaly have choppy reception on the phone. MCI says all it needs is a minimum of 80Kb, I have 384Kb. I didn;t know if there were any tweaks related to this? I have tweaked my download (through this forum) and on a 4Mb I get almost 6 so no complaints. Thank you

  7. I recently relocated my PC and installed a new cable connection. I also added broadband phone service. I was thinking this was ausing my to have slow speeds. I have Comcast 4meg down, and thorugh this website I was at less than 1meg. After applying the tweaks, CC Cleaner, Van Buren's settings and TCP Optimizer I am at 4.8 meg 12% faster than average. I used the cheap cable extension by the way, it was all I had at the time and it is great. Upstream is about 386Kb, I don't think they have upgraded this in my area yet. Thanks for all the tips
