I recently bought a new Gigabit switch and gigabit Nic cards for my comp. it seems to be alot better thna my other regular switch and nic cards. Wondering will this new swtich handle traffic better?

Exactly, there is no way that one server could even effectively use an oc 48 , maybe if you had 1000 servers that would be using the bandwidth heavy, like game servers and if you do have all this bandwidth , then why don't you ake some money and sell stuff?

How do they give you 2 oc 48's to yourself? You couldn't use all the bandwidth for yourself even if you tried and that is pretty impressive traffic for the month! What does the avertage 64 man in BF2 use and do you sell any servers to?

Do you have a usage report on that server that holds the BF2 servers, Cause i want tot see how much transfer you use a month for sumething like that.

I had the 3/384 line and am thinking about going back to them if they upgrade to 768( i hope they do) and i currently have a SDsl line from bellsouth384/384 , comcast 8/768 , and Sdsl from Covad 1.1/1.1 and my contract on the bs 384 is up in november so i might sawitch back to residential package . Also the 384 line was great for hosting, if anyone knows of Rtcw for xbox , i did a 14 man with no lag and sometimes got 16 with minimal lag. It is good but my 1.1 line tops it out by far.

Do a tracert to Testmy.net and do a ping test to , doubt your dial up is good and you probably have google accelerator , plus dial up is crap and your not going to hit above 64k

Yes but bonding a T1 is going to be the same as getting 2 separate t1's but you can bond them for same price and get all speed on 1 line instead.
