  1. Actually have to disagree with you there ev, after Mediacomm did their major upgrade in our area (to support VoIP on their networks) my speeds have been kick ass. Sorry I can't post them I'm writing from work. My friend who switched to DSL during the bad times gets way slower speeds and his modem resets itself often. Sounds like he's the one with a headache now.
  2. I live in sugar grove with mediacomm cable and at peak times it's real nasty.
  3. The log for hijack is rather large, and I recognize no processes that are suspicious.
  4. The advertised speed is 3mbps. Running the system on Windows XP sp2. I did although have the same problem with this machine running Windows 2000.   5. Hi I'm new to this forum and found it while searching for a way to test my connection. I have Mediacom "High-Speed" Cable, and it certainly has not been high speed at all.
