  1. Thanks CA3LE for your reply.

I just bought a Netgear 300n modem/router from Walmart. I will write down the other two Netgear type you suggested. I did run into some issues registering it. It was registered to someone else. Got that fixed.

    Thanks again.

  2. I am looking to replace my 2 Wire modem. I searched google for a replacement that is compatible with AT&T but I couldn't find any.

I know that if I buy one that is not of theirs they won't help me with it.

I just want one that is dependable. Because theirs only last a little more than a year. Then the warranty is out. Then you have to buy another one. They want another $100.00. Any suggestions?

  3. This is my speed test. Is this ok or can I get it to go faster. I have AT&T 6.0 extreme.

    This is a bridged network.

  4. I noticed that the retail comes with a few things extra.

    Like software and cables.

I don't really need support. This is my second computer that I am building.

The other one was built with OEM parts.

I am building a Gaming computer to sell on Ebay.

I just wanted to get some feedback on this issue to make a decision.

  5. ghostmaster:  I called Hughes net with my problem with my transmiter and they also told me that I needed to upgrade to the 7000S. That would fix my problem. I told them that I was going to WB and they put me on another transponder and it made it worse. Now my transmiter don't work. I had them give me a Dialup number till I get it fixed so they did. The Dialup worked only one day. Then I called them again and they gave me another one. It worked for another day then quit again. That was just a screen. I was in the works in getting DSL it finally got in my area. But if they wouldn't been messing with me I would of stayed with them.

Someone posted earlier that they are trying to put all the DWay 4000 on one Transponder that could be right . Because they moved me.

Now I am very happy with DSL. I am glad it came to the area.

  6. You can take out the 2-128 sticks and put the 2-256 sticks in the same slots that should be ok. They do recommend that you use the same type of memory if you are adding to it.

I took a 512MB stick out of my DELL and put it in my HP and it worked. I was just gambling that it woould work.

  7. Right now they aren't available in this area yet. The Service Tech said that I should get real close to the advertised speed because I am a couple of mile for the switching station. He said that withhis test that I am ready for the Xtream 6.0. Now all I have to do is wait for it to come in area.

  8. I get the same error message.  I get the same error message on all your mirror sites.

Warning: main(/home/testmyn/public_html/outside/multi/mirror-TimPawlak-4/conf.conf_php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/testmyn/public_html/tools/test/main.php on line 211

  9. I have been trying to tweak it and this is what I got so far. I am suppose to have up to 1.5Mbps Down and up to 256Kb upload.

Look good so far.  :D  Definitely better than Satellite. :D
