I had these same problems for the last 2 weeks and have finally resolved them. 1. Update Drivers for your NIC 2. Update Firmware for your router 3. Get a nice new Cat 6 cable 4. For duplex i recommend if possible to set it on auto instead of 100 full duplex. Auto is much faster for me when used. After doing all this my speed has also gone up from around 3780 kb/s to almost 4200 kb/s Do all those before replacing your card or router because doing all this first is much cheaper than either.
