  1. How come cloudedbrains has 3 recent tests posted that validate on testmy.net but when i search for his username all I see is 1? https://testmy.net/tools/database/s_engine.php?type=user_name&q=Cloudedbrains&affch=1
  2. Just ran a test on my RoadRunner 5.0Mbit cable connection: 27+Mbits, here is my 30 day history: http://www.testmy.net/tools/database/s_engine.php?type=user_name&q=longrifle So you can see I didn't run the test then hit the back button. Upload is still 384kbps, gotta be the most assymetrical connection in history, rofl. Great pings 24/7 for CounterStrike:Source to a load of busy servers in the texas area from Louisiana, 20-30ms. RoadRunner treats me good, don't know about anybody else. Heard all sorts of nightmare stories about cable back when I had dsl, shared connections, high pings, low bandwidth at peak hours, none of that for me, just high bandwidth low ping goodness all the time. I know most people aren't going to get 27mbits when paying for 5 though.
  3. I swear to god that's my speed. Look, do a lookup for my username, if that speed was truly me "pressing the back button" and getting a screwed up test, wouldn't I have had to run the test at least once and have gotten a low speed before I pressed back? Well if you search for my username at testmy.net you'll see only fast speeds.. And how did I get the file to download at 2MB/s, when something is in your cache it goes at like 100MB/s not 2.. Oh well don't believe me, matters not..
  4. What difference does that make? Multiple test sites are reporting around 24Mbps for me (without pushing back in the browser) and first time downloads are around 2 to 3 Megabytes per second. Slower servers return slower results, but the fact that I can test and download at around 24Mbps (usually) without pressing back and downloading the same file multiple times is all the proof I need.
  5. Can't prove it if you think I'm lying but whatever, I'm happy, although speeds are down somewhat to 13Mbits/s today, maybe they figured it out lol..
  6. Here's mine: :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 23968 Kbps about 24 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB) Download Speed is:: 2926 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2) Test Time:: Sat Oct 15 04:01:48 CDT 2005 Bottom Line:: 428X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.35 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 493.41 % faster than the average for host (rr.com) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-JNZ9WYVUF And my cache is clear, cuz I get that speed at most test sites, and the first time I download something it's at like 2MB/s, from microsoft.com, apple.com, etc. Here's a download pic: http://home.sw.rr.com/talkisnice/desktop.PNG
