When did a phone stop being..... just a phone?

  2. As far as I can remember when I was installing car Amps I always tried to go 1000 watts a 1 Farad Cap

I would Recommend the 2 Farad cap its always better to have more then you need and since your rockford was close to 1700....

Of course thats just my opinion I havent been in the Car Audio scene for a couple years

just remember to keep that cap as close to the amp as possible I dont recommend it being any further then 3 or 4 feet

    Enjoy your amp

Oh and please dont rattle my windows at 4 AM Only between 6 AM and 11PM are permitted thanx

  3. Advertised Speeds are "up To" 5Mbps Downloading and 256 Up

But here lately its been anywhere from 800k to 2.3 Mbps

they have sent out line technicians to computer "support people" who knew less then I did

And they said well up to 3 Mbps is our advertised just look it up on the site (mchsi.com)

When I call the Support Line they say those speeds are unacceptable and call my local office who sends someone out and its the same routine all over again

Tier 2 In Des Moines Says Noise In the Lines

I Dont know I wish there was something better here But its Iowa So I guess Ill tolerate the Erratic speeds and hope for the best

and have seen speeds on average around 4.6 ive seen 5.1 and 5.2 a few times while testing

Ive went over to DSLreports and tested there a couple times worthless to say the least claiming 3.5 or so but when ive tested other places and even overseas tests  i got 4.1 or 4.2

The Crappy Used stuff Mediacomm charges people to use is worthless

like a few of their employees

  6. Yeah thats What Ive been Hearing Since Late November

But People here I(owa)  who have gotten the VoIP are already getting 10 Mbps speeds

heard that is going to come to an end soon though as Mediacom will be capping them

I Remember Just Thinking it was nice having 256 speeds
