I restarted and its still the same.....It seems firefox makes it boost up to 100%... for the time it's fine while running IE, but I wonder why its like that.. Does anyone have a suggestion to remove the virus if thats what it is?

k thanks, right now i have 42 processes but 100% CPU USAGE WHAT THE HELL?! So suggestions on what to do? Spy sweeper came up with nothing either. I'm gonna try restarting now and will come back in like 5 minutes and see if it gets better.

I have 768 mb of ram, and my pc can't play a song in itunes with aim, word, and firefox running at the same tiem. I have scanned for viruses with kaspersky, defragged, ran disk cleanup, and am currently running spysweeper because www.hijackthis.com i think was bought out.. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Well, I've been signed up for about a week. That wasn't a check made out to me, that was one of the many i found over the net. There's this site that posts coupon codes etc. that had this site stickied. They have an extensive privacy policy, so I signed up. As soon as I get some $$$ I'll post back here, but so far it seems legitimate.

The computer is clean of viruses, tweaked etc. When you run a dl test at times it flies and is around 700 kbps, other times its around 300kbps and seems to freeze in the middle of the test. Also, pages are timing out. So it seems like its "sticking" at times, but when it gets past that it's fast again. Any suugestions??? Thanks

What movie, It might be a longer movie. If its too long, you can use dvd decrypter and dvd shrink to make it smaller (by cutting out extras etc.)

Maybe it didnt exit right earlier, try going to processes and closing it manually, i think it'll be called cmd.exe.

Haha I just called linksys today too. I agree, it was like talking to a machine, and after they had me go through cloning, changin the MTU to about 7 different values, asking me to update after I told them I already did an hour ago, they told me that they can't do anything more. I then asked if I should just go buy a d-link then since it was "out of warranty" . So I asked at least for a discount for stickin with linksys, but then she told me to call customer service. I told her that this is customer service, then she asked if I wanted my case # haha. Somewhat amusing, yet pathetic in a way.
