  1. you know as well as i that onelinkpr is using packeteer. you wouldn't have said it (indirectly) if you didn't know it was true. plus you're a computer network expert and you can see the signs of packeteer usage affecting p2p/bittorrent.

    No i dint think so it depends how you configure your ports I made a test couple of night just for the fun of it and I got at least 70 to 80 kb/s all depend how things are going throughout the network. But if this is true they have some administrator dint know what they are doing i mean look how terrible the connections are even doing REQUEST TIME OUT this is unacceptable. So i think they are working on it but doing a terrible job of it!!!!

  2. ok, first thing's first:

    1. the people who bought Onelink is the same people who bought Adelphia. they are called San Juan Cable (a group of investors o inversionistas). it's not exactly buying the company, more like finding a franchise (franquicia) that can run their operations in Puerto Rico.

    2. they still have problems with their servers but it's not from Sprint. remember, the problem comes from Onelinkpr server's in PR.

    3. they use this equipment to discourage people from using p2p and bittorrent. Ellos usan este equipo para disuadir o meterle presion a la gente para que no usen esos programas. Eso es todo. Remember it's cheaper for them to do this than to upgrade their equipments and lines.

    Ok but what makes you sure thay are using this kind of equipment how do you know for sure that they a doing this???? Where did you get this information???

  3. Well all I can tell you is that i believe they are working on it, its just taking them some time, B4 I used to be bellow 1.00 Mbps this are my results today....

    :::.. Download Stats ..:::

    Connection is:: 10332 Kbps about 10.3 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)

    Download Speed is:: 1261 kB/s

    Tested From:: https://testmy.net  (main)

    Test Time:: Thu Mar 2 07:57:24 UTC-0400 2006

    Bottom Line:: 185X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.81 sec

    Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 388.51 % faster than the average for host (onelinkpr.net)

    Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-X2HQLZ84N

    Cant complaint about that, one thing i got to say is that I do not achieve this speed on pick hours though... so they still restricting somethings during those hours, and of course i still have problems with the port blocking issue, it seem they blocking everything throuth our cable/modem  which I suspect is one of those cablemodems with router built in features....  just my 2 cents...

    EXPLAIN ME HOW YOU GOT 10.3 MBPS DID YOU UNCAPPED YOUR CABEL MODEM???

  4. well. first time i've been accused of being a onelink employee. i guess that makes aleksis a disgruntled former onelink employee. as for the troll, hell yeah. and i do support the people complaining to onelink. in fact i recommend that everyone cancel their subscriptions asap. more bandwidth for me. as for complaining actually doing any good in pr... lolol. more like pissing them off more, making them care less. (how dare the customer complain about terrible service)

    HAHAHA!!!!!!! THAT'S A GOOD ONE, AM WITH YOU EVERYBODY SHOULD CANCEL LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
  5. by Feb 12 all problems should be fixed , right now half of the servers are from Onelink which are working perfectly fine ,but half of the servers are adelphiacom , those are giving packet loss and speed problems. you must wait , the transition is not over yet.

    Well if that so how come when i png a local website in Puerto Rico are so high like 285ms ?????? Even worse, ping outside.
  6. JAJAJAJAJAJA!!!! THIS IS VERY FUNNY. REALLY IT MAKES ME FEEL IN MY DMAX DAYS AM SO HAPPY NOW !!!!!!

                                                        www.broadbandsupport.net

                                                    Your current bandwidth reading is:

                                                                    234.60kbps

                                  which means you can download at 29.33 KB/sec. from our servers.

  7. if you do that you HAVE to inform the other person you are recording the conversation otherwise you could get in problems.

    That's right but still you can record him he has to get the call no matter what, the only thing he will be polite but still doesn't resolve the problem with the packet loss or the restriction. I am just waiting till march, if the problem doesn't resolve i will just test with Centennial or Dmax. Onelink just didn't go smoothly in the transition it was really a chaos over the internet connection. The only concern for them is does the customers have a internet connection (YES) so the only concern is we still have connection but if they open the whole darn ports this would be a real chaos just because they are still using adelphias server so they are obligated to restrict ports. SOOOOO I will wait till march final !!!!!!!
  8. Wow is that for true? That person was rude! The calls aren't monitored so they can talk like that.  :angry5:

    Btw I think they can't have full access to the bandwidth. They are employees nothing more. They uncap there lines are another story. IMO

    So when they ask for the phone number is to write or see if you have illegal activities done? and write bad comments?

    My friend i don't think so is just to see your account in the screen and wright what they talked about these is a protocol. They won't ask your for the acc. number because is too long just the phone number to access your account and wright a tickler just that. Theres nothing to be afraid of!!!

  9. OK]Ok i just talked with some techies in ONELINKPR about if you have a problem with certain games like BF2 with always appearing message "HAVING PROBLMES WITH CONNECTION" they told me about the router if a have one connected i told them yes and it appears that my router is a lynksys but this is not the problem i asked them about there blocking ports for p2p and they told me some ports that are being blocked no all of are being blocked of what they say. Any way one thing they  told me is to play servers for BF2 in area like Europe or servers in Germany and i tried, it appears to have a good connection but still have the same problems in other servers. the only thing that the techies in ONELINKPR says is that theres problems with latency and packet loss but the problem doesn't affect because of the ports that are being blocked still they say is Miami the problem YYYYYEEEAAA RIGHT !!!!!! one of them even told me that they are monitoring the connections for p2p and that really concerned me because of my privacy isn't that illegal or what ???? Anyway if you have any comments do so for this situation on Puerto Rico ONELINK there's alot of mysteries in this new company is pathetic!!!!
