boot the computer up and it will be the first thing that is said on your screen... AWARD bios maybe just configured for compaq? ? ? Check with compaq by the way ~~~ and next time don't buy a pre built hehe

What BIOS do you have ... because you have to disable in the bios... You may have to update the bios... that is never a fun tast, I always bite my nails hopeing that it boot afterword... hehe

Well the 1496 test is the most accurate for any connection... the smart test is more of a bandwidth and time saver... it figures at what point it would be worth it to sacrifice test time for test accuracy. ~~ I have it pretty fine tuned and haven't had even one complaint since it's inception.... but go ahead and test strait with the largest... that will offer the most accurate results PERIOD...

Yea, I have just been too lazy... it will take me like an hour to sit here and get the function added... that isn't an easy task... Let's say I try to get that up by monday... TRY... I really need that though, would make this much better

Swimmer nailed it on the head... Welcome, and the reason that you get a better score here is because my server is less congested... and it on an awesome backbone. DSL Reports does have a good test, they just have a lot of traffic and can't keep up with it... But when this site gets like that I will be opening multiple servers so there is no worries - Damon

No they won't gradually drop your speed, they don't try to mess with your head in that respect.... if they did drop it it would be all at once and they would be required to notify you of a service change.
