  2. I would check http://www.ti.com/ for driver updates... or revert to the old drivers you were using...
  3. No... he meant Mbps ... ....... 1.5 Kbps is like 4.55 times slower than 56K .... I havn't heard of that internet plan ICE ... hehe

I definitly have enough traffic to fill up some ISP reviews. Don't under estimate my traffic based on the activity in the forums... 95% of my traffic doesn't even realize that I have a forum. I am very sure that we will get a lot of feedback on ISP reviews... just thinking weather or not I want to spend the time creating a system to manage submissions ~~~ I could how ever make a section in the forum, and inside that section there would be sub-sections that have many ISP names, and submissions would go in that folder... I don't know, just brain storming.

Well as soon as the site gets to the point where I need one more server I will have one east and one west. Right now though I am good for a few more months, but that is deffinitly in my plans... because with the amount of bandwidth I suck up so you guys can test your bandwidth is VERY high International server... maybe one day.. one step at a time guys ~~~~~ But this server... as you might have read is on a killer network... so you all should enjoy very decent test scores... (good, strong, big names in bandwidth providers = no little guys in the middle what crap networks (because big guys... well, have badass networks) = less latency = better test) As for the comment on the "OC3 minimum line" ~~~ let me just give you a snap shot of the backbone I am on ~~~ Current Internet Backbone Carriers - 10Gbps Total Verio - 1 x GigE Connection (1000Mbps) Sprint - 1 x GigE Connection (1000Mbps) Level 3 - 1 x GigE Connection (1000Mbps) Abovenet - 2 x GigE Connection (2000Mbps) MCI / UUNET - 1 x GigE Connection (1000Mbps) Global Crossing - 1 x GigE Connection (1000Mbps) Allegiance Telecom - 2 x GigE Connection (2000Mbps) Time Warner Telecom - 1 x GigE Connection (1000Mbps) Building Fiber SBC - OC48 SONET Ring MCI / UUNet - OC48 SONET Ring XO Communications - OC48 SONET Ring Time Warner Telecom - OC48 SONET Ring Looking Glass Networks - multiple - OC48 SONET Rings A lot of you guys may see your actual ISP as one of the MANY bandwidh providers that links to my server... great for you because that will lower your latency even more Trust me... I go shopping when I get a server ~~~~~~~ BUUUUT, on to you ICE. You may get scores elsewhere that will show your score higher... and you may download a file at what seems like faster than you score here. Reason being is burst... if you can show me a screenshot of a 100 MB file that you sustained at 4.5 Mbit I will recode my entire site ~ the reason you get a lower score here is because (and I have told you this before) TestMy.net does not bullshit with you about your test score... TestMy.net ALSO does not use little dinky test files... and TestMy.net has built in technology to display more accurate scores minus the burstable speed you get when you initiate a connection to download a file ~~~~~~ You are after all here you see what speed your connection is right? Well, everywhere else you are most likely seeing just what your connection can burst at... not a good thing to lie to yourself ~ TestMy.net isn't going to lie to you I have been developing this site for a long time, and take pride in the accuracy of my tests... if you feel that your scores are off, let me know and I will look into the matter... I have found errors in my code thanks to user feedback... but most of the time it is either a problem on your end, a problem with your providers connection or just a misunderstanding of the speed that you actually have.... not just what your ISP wants you to think - Damon
