thanks for the help ill try it but im not worried about the speed it just wont stay connected. everything disconnects then reconnects about every 30 minutes or so

no i dont have any tweaks or anything and yes the router is connected to the modem...ISP is Cox im assuming this is what you wanted to see? the problem is the internet with any of the connections (xbox live, my computer, parents computer) my computer and the xbox arent on wireless and it still happens i will try some of those options anyways its a cheap netgear wgr614 wireless router. thanks!

well i think its the router...anyways my problem is about every 30 minutes i get disconnected for about a minute and it will reconnect. it does this over and over as long as i am on. it also effects everything else connected to the router. it has only been happening since i got a new router any suggestions?
