I hate rogers) so the techician came today and the neighbors immediatly shutoff their downloads making me look like a dumbass while I explained to him my problem. Well even after I explained the guy said there's nothing he could do abt my slow speed since it is caused by my neighbors and not the problems with the equipment... but yeah look at my speed now... and will continue like this till his rogers red van leaves (he's downstairs as I type) :::.. yup same time everyday.... And yeah the bad thing about cable is that you have to share the net traffic with ppl in ur neighborhood. It's usually about 4 houses using the same "cablebox" located outside of our house, where every rogers customer can acess 1) I hear him pull up the driveway at around 4:45pm 2) I see my ping go up at 500-700 on 4:49pm 3) I get pissed off and shakes my fist towards his house 4) I come here to check for new msges I remember there was this one time where the net was not moving at all! and I had a paper due so I went over and told him to slow down his uploads, and the lag were gone. The next day it was back on to surferable 56k speed.

lol I already tried that it still lags... the best way to screw him up is to use my sis's notebook and get on his wireless router (he doesn't have password) and I change his settings... but they go back the next 2 hrs.. but yeah that's the only way, too bad I can't keep doing this since my sis is never home with her notebook (at university).

lol you have done enuff already... the cost of them coming out is not the problem. It's just that I don't want to look like a fool when they come, since the neighbors will shut off their uploads for sure, (meaning my connection will be back to 4.5Mbps). Hey Roco should I just get an appointment... and have them come over? but I'm pretty sure it's the neighbours since when they're not home my speed is over 4 and it goes under 1 when they are. I would call them over but now I don't want to look like a jackass since my neighbours will surely shut down their uploads when they see the red rogers truck in my driveway.
