yeah I've done those instructions in you're sig, the only thing I haven't tried is an tweaker! i however got some help from a covad guy and we tried a differnt test and I am getting over 8,000 kb/s so I am actually doing well...we couldn't really figure out why is was so much slower on testmy, but even cnet.com has confirmed simialr results as speed test servers have outputed! I will look into seieng if my sb 5120 modem is outdated and if so...request a different one! -Jumaane

How did you get 80MB???? 8573 is 8,573 kb/s I'm sorry you mis-read that, but I think 80MB is just un-heard've and if I did get that score...I sure as hell wouldn't share it becuase the cable company be wondering WTF is going on! Well at that test I choose the L.A. & San Fran server and got 8573 kB/s DL and 490 kB/s UL Which sounds about right! The funny thing though is that I was/still am downloading torrents :shock: at the time I took the test! So I believe my connection speed is just fine, but wonder why testmy.net gave me a different test, which showed me way under speed ! -Jumaane
