it seems like i recieved my speed upgrade to 8/768 except im not getting 768kbps upload speeds yet. still getting 384. recieved speeds the first of this month. amazingly, im getting 9.2 insted of 8. better for me. :::.. im on the 6/384 plan. im just saying that because i see people getting the speed upgrade that everyone is talking about but i havnt gotten it yet. i guess you can say im a bit inpacent.

when would i see an increase in speed here in GA on a 6mb plan?

i thought because of the speed upgrade comcast was doing. is it true or is that just a rumer.

how is it that you are getting up to 7mbps download on a 6mb plan? the highest iv gotten ever is 6.3.

i had an issue like that before. i had an RCA modem and a Netgear router next to each other and it kept resetting the modem. moved the router a few feet away and problem solved. inconsistant speed still happens to me from time to time from comcast. its frustrating but i cant do much about it. i figured that maybe its because of comcast increasing speeds? btw is that true

i have vonage and its great. the only thing that is creating a problem is upload speeds. when using the net while on the phone, its ok but when it comes to downloading while on the phone, thats an issue. im sure if i had the 768kb upload speed, it would be much better.

how can you get 7.7mbps when your on a 6mb plan?

last time comcast did a speed jump was back in aug/sept.2005. and when they did, my connection was all messed up. im guessing my connection will be messed up again till they finish the upgrade?
