i had that problem alot. but i got rid of the speedstream and purchased a 2wire. the 2wire kicks ass

if you have a lag in your pc. there is a command you can type into your dos command which will take the 5 second delay out of your system that most people get from their service providers

i got a 6 meg connection and at times i can reach up to as much as 10. and i am on sbc yahoo. 1 good way to improve your speed is to insert more net cards. each net card you get will increase the speed, i got 2 netcards in mine
