  1. I'm upgrading to RCN's 50mbps internet and I'm in need of a new router. I've been a Linksys fan in the past, but I've been reading lots of negative reviews about their newer products. Any suggestions?
  2. I will be moving this weekend, and I will need to cancel my DSL service. I signed up for a 1 year contract, which expired on 09/12. Does Verizon give you a hard time about canceling, or is it a smooth process?
  3. Thanks for the help. I'm sure there's a rule against using foul language, so I'll keep my thoughts to myself.

  8. First off, let me say the I HATE Verizon. I had no choice, so that's why I have it. I have the 3 Mbps service and it is VERY slow. Are there any settings that will give me more speed?? Thanks!

  10. I'd like to know what's involved as well. I live in an apartment and I am interested in FIOS, but I don't know if it's feasible. Also, I have read that they need to install stuff on your computer and I'm not sure I want any junk on there cluttering it up. Is it not as simple as plugging it into your modem and/or router??
  11. I bought it and installed it myself. I built the PC.
  12. Yeah. I have a tv card in my computer, but no cable nearby. I am looking for a solution that would enable me to use it without running wires.
  13. Is there a product that can wirelessly transmit a tv cable signal?
  14. I got a Linksys wireless card and it works great.
